Shenzhen started its "Reading Month" in 2000, which has been benefiting all the citizens since then. In accordance with the great action of Shenzhen government, Baihe Foreign Language School has also been implementing this project all the way.
  SZBHFLS organizes this activity in November every year to help all the students and teachers realize the significance of reading and improve themselves, for reading is a life-long way to learn. The school introduces many kinds of books that are pleasantly suitable for students. All these books will be exhibited in the hall for students to choose on the Book Fair Day. Students then make a list of the books that they would like to read and hand in their book lists afterwards. The school will purchase all the books and keep them in the library so that students can borrow and enjoy the books. As for the teachers, the school will buy them books to read. Besides, students and teachers will be invited to share their favorite books, which is called "Resource Sharing". This is a very traditional activity in the school, which makes the campus full of happiness of reading and learning. The whole school is evolving from common readers to wise readers to read lives. Now the whole school is expecting this special day to come.
